"Everybody EATS" is a short that won Apple’s 2026 Everyone Can Code Chicago Competition. The short was created in partnership with BYNC and BASE Community Cafe.
“Everybody EATS” explores the theme of accessibility through the lens of food apartheid, which is a global issue that is prominent in our local communities on the South Side of Chicago. This film aims to celebrate two mutual aid initiatives that facilitate access to free food: Love Fridges and Urban Farms.
The Apple Ecosystem Accessibility Features are showcased for their ability to facilitate daily life for our special needs friends. Apple Accessibility Tools featured include: Magnify Tool/ Read to me, "Find a Chicago Love Fridge Near Me," Face Time Live Transcription, Assistive Touch
